And the war goes on...
This is a note I received last week from a dear friend in Kiev, Ukraine. The War has been dragging on for over four months now and weariness is one of the persistent issues that people have to fight with every day! They are also concerned that the Countries that have been so energetic in their support and humanitarian aid will also become weary and abandon them...
This is our not good morning today .... This is Lukyanovka, just a few hundred meters from the former church building. 14 missiles were fired from fighter jets at Kyiv from the side of the Caspian Sea. 10 were shot down by anti-aircraft defense and 4 flew in. We heard all four whistles over our house.

Lord, please help the Ukrainians to persevere. Please help us to continue to help. Please end the war by noon. Please heal broken hearts and lives in Ukraine and Russia.

I so agree with these prayers!! It’s not by might, nor by power but by My SPIRIT says the Lord. And we speak to these “mountains “ to be removed in His HOLY name.

Oh Lord God, for the pain of this little girl and so many like her, old and young, male and female, who’s souls have been violated and traumatized by violence and death, visit them with Your peace and healing and hope! You have not left them, do not allow us to either. Cause all of us, Your people, to arouse from the lethargy of this prolonged pattern of the enemy. Give us fresh vision and invigoration in Your call to us for them and them to You. Help all of us lean into You when weary and find rest and renewal in the middle of uncertainty and chaos. Cause them to feel the breath of Your Spirit, so close, as You walk with them. We cry out to You for Life in place of weariness and despair: Your heart, provision and strength to enliven Your people. Move as only You can, do what only You can do. Help all of us to choose to walk in Your love, Your strength and obedience. All our Hope is in You!!!
