On our last night in Chernivtsi before leaving for Lviv and beyond, we had a great evening with some of our young leaders who have grown up and are ministering as much as ever but now with young kids! Their hearts are so tender and we had an amazing time talking about the integrity of our own walk with Christ, renewal, repentance, and complete devotion to Him. We spent time in prayer - which included our dear Russian friends who have remained in touch since our time on mission trips together.

The next picture is on our first night in Lviv with Dr. Lev and two of his medical students who are  helping with the medical and humanitarian needs between Kiev and Lviv...  then they had dinner ready for us in their little apt. Except for Rolfe and I and Max and Nastya- everybody else are doctors...  It's well after midnight and Rolfe and I are sharing the same couch bed- it will be interesting!

Make Rolfe sleep on the bar on the couch bed, lol. If he's truly your brother in Christ he won't even complain about the excruciating back ache he'll have tomorrow. HAHAHA. I find it so refreshing that in the middle of all that chaos that your post isn't much different from ones you posted years ago...walking with Jesus, renewal, repentence and devotion, Sleep tight and don't let the couch fold up on you. much love = anita

My goodness, the troubles and pain you are seeing and experiencing. Yet I gather that you, Pastor Jerry and Mr. Carawan, have some privileged comforts (though very limited). I pray that you all sense God’s presence and love. I pray for a change of heart by Mr. Putin. I ask for an end of aggression, then a shift to inflow of resources and rebuilding. I ask for peace and healing for those who’ve lost friends and loved ones… In the meantime, I am learning what “loving one another” can look like when it’s done well. I pray that the Easter Sunday coming up is a time of hope. I pray that any unbelievers around you will wonder why you put yourselves in this position, and come to know that God is actually knocking on their door.
