Church in Cochabamba
We had a wonderful time together tonight at Juan Carlos and Rachel’s church! (The pictures show the pastor’s wife opening the service and also the TV Studio at the church.) The Bolivians are a very sweet and gentle people! Because of the virus, the government stopped all public transportation at 7 pm tonight and the Service didn't end until after 8 pm. Most of the people don't have cars so they had to walk a goodly distance to get back home! Tomorrow a National order begins to put a curfew on everybody. No activities can start before 5 am and everything stops by 4pm - all businesses must close by then, no public transportation or even private cars on the street. They don't even want pedestrians outside their homes after 4 pm. The government said they will be patrolling the streets with police vehicles and helicopters to make sure everyone complies, in an all-out effort to stop the Covid virus here. I am not sure how this will affect our plans, but I am certain they won't curtail anything our Lord has planned. He is perfect in all His ways and Sovereign over everything in the Universe! So, our eyes are fixed on Him and we are excited every day to see what He puts on the agenda! We will keep you posted, so stay tuned for whatever is next!
