When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus replied," to love the Lord your God with all of our heart, soul and mind ( Matt. 22:36-40/Deut. 6:4,5) and the second is like it, to love your neighbor as yourself." (Lev. 19:18) In both, God is underlining for us the pre-eminence of relationship.

Everything we do in every Country we go to, is based on these two Greatest Commandments.  I have tried to sort out personal comments from the other descriptions of people's lives, work and faith but it is like trying to take out all the calories from peanut butter, it is just not the same... so, on our blog you have the on-going dialogue that truly represents the relationships we have with various friends and leaders, as well as a description of their work and spiritual journey! My hope is that these readings can be a bit like the book of Acts for you, as they have become for me.

Below is the latest message from a wonderful sister in Russia who is a leader is the house churches there, Her name is Lyuba, which means love...

Dear Jerry, you are very kind to me as always! Thank you for the details of your trip, yes it will not be so fast, but at the same time it will be exciting! And supernaturally, I believe!
Don't worry about me! It is an honor to pray and fast for you as much as the Holy Spirit prompts. But I heard your request! Well, won't I lose weight?

We embrace you in Christ, dear friend! I hugged Vova, Ilya and Timmy for you!
Starting tomorrow, I will be out of range of the Internet network for a couple of days until this Sunday. Therefore, if you write something, I will see it only later!

Everything is fine at home. Children are happy, the Lord helps them overcome difficulties and gain intelligence. Ilya is very interested in our practical life with Jesus and we are blessed to have conversations about Him!   Timmy works hard at coming up with diagrams and drawings for games with friends, and he's doing great!

Thank God, Vova has a job and we can cover our expenses and help other people as much as possible, whom the Lord points out.
We are doing well in our little gathering. The Lord is always present among us at meetings and we share with each other many testimonies of God's love and His victories in our lives. Jerry, you know, a lot of people are interested in the setting and the topics that God gives us at every meeting. And this interest spreads between people themselves without our participation. Vova and I are a little worried in a human way about if everything develops so rapidly, and we are not ready for this at all! I mean, we are such small and ignorant people, and God has such big plans for the world through all of us. It humbles and exposes me...
We believe only God that it is in His competence to bring people to His House for real. After all, we have been disappointed in ourselves many times. (Jer 17:5-8).
And we are also happy to see the renewed faces and hearts of our friends and acquaintances as the Lord perfects their lives and thinking! These are amazing miracles that are already happening (Matthew 13:31-33)
I pray for all of you!  Please give our hugs and prayers to dear Sue and your church! I hope Sue is well?
Blessings!♥ With respect and love, lyuba
