As you might expect, we had a plan for what these last two days of the journey would look like - and you also might not be too surprised to hear that God had a different one! And as usual - His plan was better than ours!
I could go on and on with the many ways things changed along the way, and the many obstacles that the enemy seemed to be planting with each turn of events - but I'll try not to get too carried away! We took Jerry to the Airport yesterday afternoon, 3 hours ahead of his scheduled international departure. Things went pretty smoothly - except for the announcements of 3 seperate flight delays! I was praying for a miracle that would allow him to arrive in Toronto in time to catch his connecting flight to Warsau - but we were peaceful as well as confident that everything was in God's hands. He gently reminded me to be anxious for NOTHING - more than once - and I kept thanking Him for that reminder - and the peace and confidence deep in my heart! The bottom line - Jerry missed the flight, but spent the night in Toronto and was able to get a good night's sleep before heading out a whole day later than planned - not to Warsau but to Vienna! He is flying across the Atlantic as I write this, and will catch aother connecting flight tomorrow to Chisinau, Moldova where he will meet up finally with Rolf and then head by car to Ukraine! God is so good, so kind and so amazing!!!
Thank you dear friends for your prayers and for all who are fasting - your partnership in this mission is profound and I'm asking the Lord to reveal that to you in sweet, encouraging ways!! Stay tuned! With much love, sue
