Kidstar
After visiting Graceland we went to see our dear friend Alex Weigel- who gave up everything in his beautiful home Country of Switzerland to pour out his life here in the Kibera slum.
Alex and his wife Daisy, who is from the Kibera slum herself, have three beautiful children! Their school is called Kidstar and is run like a Swiss watch. So many come out of this school with high marks and go on to productive lives with beautiful families of their own! This is one of God's most profound miracles in light of the overwhelming odds against just surviving! We help this school with special projects and this year with scholarship money that lets kids go on to high school after they finish eighth grade. It costs about $80 a year to do that and many families just can't raise that much money for each of their kids to keep going on in their education- but we can help...

The looks of Hope and Joy on these kids faces makes me drop to my knees. If only our own country had as much faith these kids have...

Thank you, Jerry. We continue to pray and fast for you and Rolfe and these beautiful children and all those God brings to you to proclaim the Kingdom and heal the sick.
Wow - look at all those beautiful children who belong to Jesus. Truly amazing. What a blessing to the world to see our future leaders in those smiling little faces.
So thankful for Alex and all the teachers who pour out the love of Jesus to these kids!
