Last night we were bombed a lot while we were at Lev's apartment in Kiev. A huge explosion woke us up at 3am! I thought the apartment building across the street was hit at multiple levels and on fire, but it was just a reflection off of their windows- the bombs and rockets hit on our side! I kept watching the explosions and the patriot missiles were firing off right in front of me and knocking the next wave of rockets out of the air before they hit! The only problem with that is that all the debris falls on the folks down below... I had a ringside seat and was just praying for God to intervene and keep anybody from getting hurt!
We went back to sleep for about another hour and then got up to leave for Lviv- about a six hour drive to meet dear friends for lunch there at 1pm.
Right now we are heading to the Ukrainian border with Poland - and then another 6 hour drive from there to Warsaw! We have a hotel room there tonight, but we will get in late and have an early morning flight in the morning to Frankfurt. (Rolfe left earlier -by train- and should be home by Wednesday evening.)
Thank you, Lord, for your protection and covering!
