I will post details as soon as we hear more - but I do know that Pastor Jerry flew from Istanbul, Turkey to Chisinau, Muldova today and then drove to Chernivtsi Ukraine! So grateful for your prayers, encouraging comments and powerful scriptures!
Sue,
I have been praying in past few days for Jerry. Eph 3.20. Knowing that God can do immeasurably more than we all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Putting Jerry's life in context than l know he got this. May the God of peace give you you peace at all times. Love you Sue. PHIL 4- 4 -9.
Thank you Lord for Jerry’s safe travels and arrival. Bless the work of his hands and encourage his heart for what is ahead.
Praying a hedge of protection around Jerry. May he feel your presence in every situation and receive your peace. Give him adequate rest, keep him from illness or injury. Let his heart not be troubled, but blessed. You are in the midst of it all Lord. You are faithful. Encourage his heart. Thank you Lord. In Jesus precious name. Amen.
I am grateful for the hope brought by the current surge by the Ukrainian defenses. But I am concerned for the safety of everyone in Ukraine, as there are not only reports of civilian tragedies, but also of the threat of nuclear devastation.
Lord God, we praise you for Your sovereignty and faithfulness. Please keep Pastor Jerry and friends in Ukraine safe as they travel and meet in the midst of war. I certainly realize this is a big request considering the violent momentum and attitudes. But You are a powerful God, able to do anything, including changing Mr. Putin’s heart. Please end the war by noon. Help Ukrainians and Russians return home to rebuild and reestablish friendships with heartbroken friends and family. Help them to make important decisions about what to do next. Thank you for letting us meet the Kushnir family. They are wonderful! Help them to feel at home wherever they are.
