Miracles!

   I Cor. 4:20 says, "The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."  Our Lord Jesus healed people everywhere He went, He still does!   We have seen our dear Lord bring about an amazing deliverance from cancer with a mom and her newborn baby in Germany, Zhenya's Leukema,  that gave him almost no chance of survival, Jury's devastating ruptured appendix that was horrifically mistreated and threatened to take his life as well- all restored to health miraculously!   After our wonderful time at the Bukura School in Kisumu region last Friday, our friends directed us to a nearby home to meet some of their relatives, but they had another agenda.   The patriarch, a young man about my age, was sitting in the main room. For several months he was hardly able to speak, couldn't walk, and had constant shaking of his hands. Additionally, the last couple weeks he had no desire to eat- he was failing quickly.  He is a dear man of faith!  I asked him if he believed God could heal him, and he responded, "yes, I know He can!"   So I got down on my knees and we pleaded for Jesus' intervention and to do what looks impossible to man!   After we had prayed, God reminded me of Mark 5:36 to admonish everyone about standing firm in our faith in Jesus and I also felt we needed to fast until the next day.  I and others have kept this dear brother, 'David' in our hearts and prayers for several days now... Today we received the report that David's speech has been completely restored, he is walking around freely, and has a great appetite again - very grateful and feeling very good!  We all recognize  that God has done another miraculous healing but one thing still remains  to be restored, the shaking of his hands.  We have called on the Lord with grateful hearts and in faith to bring to completion the work He has begun in this dear man (Phil.1:6), and that all of these things would bring great Glory to the wonderful Name of Jesus!!
