News from Eastern Ukraine

Just a quick update before we go to bed- we arrived in Kharkiv, in Eastern Ukraine, Wednesday evening.  The pace hasn't slowed down yet but God is equal for any task He calls us to...  Doug Burleigh called from Washingtin D.C. to check on us yesterday and asked what we have been doing? I started to describe it and it came out just like Jesus told us in Luke 4:18,19- By the power of the Holy Spirit we have put our hands on the sick and they have gotten well; we have preached the Gospel to the prisoners and the poor and they have rallyed to Christ; we have been called to preach the Gospel daily from SW Ukraine all the way to here in the East and He has used it constantly to strengthen His Church!  What an amazing Grace to be called to partner with the Holy Spirit in the same things that Jesus was about! John 14:12,13    We have been out again tonight and now preparing to be up early tomorrow to speak to the saints at the first Baptist church here in Kharkiv.  Earlier this morning I was asked to speak to pastors from all over the region around Kharkiv, and our faithful God met with us again!   We hope to catch up on all the details of these days soon, but for now know that our God is honoring your prayers and love!  There is nothing we desire more than to see the Father glorified through His Son Jesus by the overwhelming power of the Holy Spirit!  May He fill your hearts as well!  In His love, jerry and sue
