We received not one but two updates from Jerry today(This blogger is very excited!)

Update #1:     We are just getting ready to go again to visit the hospital work here in Lviv that our Doctors are involved with.  Vlad Vozniac, from Eastern Ukraine, is coming from another city to have lunch with us this afternoon.  His wife died a couple of years ago from breast cancer and he writes often. He is the Campus Crusade Director,  has attended our Pastor's Conferences in the East and has been a very dear brother for many years!

I worked out at a gym across the street this morning and a man asked  me where I was from and seemed stunned when I told him, then he just said "thank you for being here with us and caring for Ukraine"!  I keep hearing this with our friends and everywhere- just the sweetest comments with great gratitude!  I know all of those amazing prayers from you and others continue to bring the Spirit's Presence and Power all around us wherever we have gone!  I feel so full of peace and His love that it is impossible to express and almost too overwhelming to contain!!

#2     We had a great opportunity at lunch today to meet with Vlad, Rolfe and the doctors, to discuss how to address not only the material needs but the spiritual needs of the nation and the military at this time of crisis. There are some serious issues and divisions, even between believers, for which our true enemy is famous!

It is always exciting for me to see these dear brothers who have only heard about each other or have never even met before, to connect up around a meal before they head back into the War zones - filled with encouragement and sharing significant resources with each other!   Last night our medical team had dinner together with the Roman Bokoch family. Roman is driving critically needed food and medicines back into what they call 'hot zones'.  Our doctors had exactly the medicines Roman's team has been trying to find, and they gave them all they needed for free!

In turn, our doctors have been looking for a special small military version of the Bible that was just recently prepared.  They want to put them in their emergency food and first aid packages for the troops. Vlad and the doctors met for the first time today and, as you could guess, Vlad just happened to have a large box of these same unique Bibles in his van which he gave them for free!!   I have been walking with most of these friends for many years but they live in different parts of the Country... Now with the war, there has been one opportunity after another to see God extend these critical connections to places all over Ukraine!  By God's grace we hope to see more and more of His servants find ways to serve together and watch the miraculous ways God will use His Body to meet every need!

Thank you friends for your amazing  part in helping to knit this wonderful network together!  Everybody has a place to help and the Light from His Church all over the World is not only saving lives physically but spiritually as well!

May the name of JESUS be proclaimed with shouts of joy and thanksgiving Everywhere, as the Holy Spirit fills to overflowing, all who have come to know Him as their Savior and Lord!!   Amen!

Unity, joy and smiles from a place in history I would not expect. So much bad news coming from the war, yet God’s love and hope shines through you warriors.
