Sunday, June 13th   -   We are on a slow train to Novomoscosk, a town outside of Dnepro (formerly Dneperopetrosk) in Eastern Ukraine.  We finished our time in Kharkiv this morning by preaching on God's commands against fear, of any kind, except fear of the Lord!  The Holy Spirit kept pressing me on this issue because of the paralyzing fear so many have of the Covid disease, money, and the future because of the war with Russia here that has lasted for seven years- longing to end this war is a prayer request everywhere we go in Ukraine!   God met with us during the Service in a wonderful way and there were many conversations afterward about specific issues in their life that satan has tried to dominate with this paralyzing fear!   A side note...most people here have very limited discretionary funds, they have to trust God daily for His care and provision.  But when our host, pastor Gennadii Pilipenko, mentioned to the congregation we're heading to Africa to help with the schools and desperate food shortage there, $400 was given secretly by different saints to add to the gifts we are already bringing. It is always amazing to see people giving, not out of their abundance but out of their necessities. What a beautiful visual of Mark 12:41-44...

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed! Proverbs 11:25 I pray that all are encouraged by the teachings of God’s word.

I was out front gardening and the Holy Spirit moved me with a prayer for you. So here I am.

Father, I thank you for the eternal lives being saved. For the seeds and the watering that is being done. Please bless Jerry, Sue, and ANYone they come in contact with. The specific blessing I'm asking for is that each of those people come to you, and know your presence in a way that cannot be denied. I pray that your saints are encouraged and refreshed..

Back into the yard now. :-)

And I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
