Here is an amazing letter from our dear sister Lyuba (love) in Krasnodar Russia! There are so many terrible things happening in this awful War with Ukraine that it might be easy to forget the Great work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of so many of our Russian brothers and sisters...

My dear friend Jerry! What happiness it is to understand that God has given us this communication and friendship! This is a huge gift from Him! Thank you very much for the encouragement and the Scriptures, they are very strong! Today the Lord gave a great opening to my heart and filled a significant part of my soul with His peace and understanding!

In a certain area of life, I have been looking for answers from God for more than 6 years and could not understand the essence of what was happening. And today it happened at once! Vova and I again kneel before the kindness of our Savior and the action of the Holy Spirit!!

How much I want to tell you, we have a eventful every day. It's like I'm living two or three days in one. I believe the same thing is happening with you!

The Lord also comforts and gives strength in relation to the current situation here with us. It doesn't matter that  a storm is raging around, what matters is that we are in the same boat with Him! Jesus is looking for faith!‍

Today He strengthens us to know the Truth about His Blood, which He shed so that we would be saved! The door-posts of our hearts are anointed with It and no darkness can overcome us! God leads us more and more into the supernatural reality and His miracles! I accept this life, heavenly, and renounce the earthly and perishable!! Vova is also moving in this! The Lord is great and I am very interested in what will happen next!

I like that notion of “the door-posts of our hearts”. I also appreciate the encouragement to look beyond current crises and events to the fact that God is moving — if only I will focus on Him. I wish the saints of Russia could know how much our hearts are breaking for them. Nationality and ethnicity mean so little. Faith and loving one another mean everything.
P.S. I like the shirt on one of the youngsters, “Weekend Vibes” :)
