The Journey Back to Kenya Begins

Dear church family,
It is with great excitement and anticipation, along with a little anxiety, that Mark and Marcy Brighton and Judy and I head to the airport to visit our friend Enos and explore the Kenyan Lunch Program and other ministry opportunities in Kenya. As you know we have been providing finances to support the lunch programs at three schools for many years.
On this trip we hope to get a more complete understanding of how these programs work, learn more about Enos’ vision for his ministry life and what Jesus is doing in Kenya, and visit a few dear friends that are all seeking to love and share Jesus.
Please join us in prayer for the next ten days, September 5 – 15, as we seek God and His hand in Kenya. We will try to upgrade the blog as frequently as we can. God bless each of you and we look forward to seeing you when we return.

Thank you for taking this long trip! I am praying that you can sense and enjoy God's presence along the way. Also praying for fast recovery of your body clocks.
I’ve had the four of you on my mind almost continually since yesterday our time. I await with great anticipation with the Lord will be showing you and what the Lord will be giving you in the way of direction and ministry and provision for what he is calling us to do. Grace and peace to you! (I have been reading a lot of Paul’s letters lately!).
