Shalom dear friends and partners in the work of our Savior Jesus Christ!  I generally add new material to the blog whenever I am traveling but so many of you are earnestly invested in this ministry that it seems important to keep you up to date as new information and prayer needs come in basically every day!   Last year I and various ministry partners traveled to Colombia, Israel, Kenya, Ethiopia, Turkey and Ukraine  (twice).  In this post we will include some of the latest updates from our dear doctor Lev Prystupiuk in Ukraine who continues to serve in the most violet areas where the needs are constant and often critical!

Shalom, dear brother Jerry,   I am praying for you and your family and hope you have made a full recovery.   How are you, your family and how is your health?   I would like to share how powerful, and great the Lord is and that He has His plan for everything.   Last weekend, I traveled as part of a group of volunteer doctors to the de-occupied cities of the Donetsk region - Bakhmut and Lyman. These cities are closer than 10 km to the front line, and international organizations do not go there.   I want to thank you for your help and God's mercy since we bought most of the medicines and necessary things on our own.   I would like to share how God works through the Church. We arrived in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, where we spent the nights and went to Bakhmut and Liman during the day.  In Kramatorsk, we were hosted by the Pentecostal Church. The pastor of the church said that before the war they never had a full hall, but now there are so many people that there is no place to sit during God's service (more than 500 parishioners). And the Lord is working in people, many people have accepted God and He is working in their hearts.  And it doesn't matter if it's Pentecostal or Baptist, God has one church and all his children. We spent the nights at the pastor's house, 21 people on the floor on a mattress and only one shared toilet with a bath for everyone and cold water.  So we weren't bored.     Attached I would like to share photos, so you can see how we conducted our services.   I pray for you. In God’s love, Lev

To the courageous people of Ukraine,
Our hearts are with you. We pray for you. We want the war to end. I wish we could send you more than a few tanks to push back the invading armies. Electricity and heating oil are in short supply when the weather is so cold. You are a model of pressing through very hard times for your country, and for what is right. Ukrainian people have won a big place in my heart. God will not let us down.

To the hurting people of Russia,
Our hearts are with you too. I feel awful that you are stuck in a terrible regime. Your resources are wasted on tools of destruction and a handful of powerful people. Your young men are dying or are jailed for a terrible purpose. We understand the bad situation you are in. We pray for you and a quick end to the war. God will not let us down.

To Pastor Jerry and Pastor Sue,
Thank you for keeping us updated on what’s happening with our friends. They inspire us! We pray for you while you’re away for a short time.
