We have been so blessed on this trip that we cannot report or even contain it all in our hearts! What a wonderful God we serve!! There are many things to share with you from the last week in Chernivtsy but we have fallen behind because the days were so full that we were unable to write even late at night we were so exhausted, but it was a sweet fatigue! Mark 6:30,31
Over the next couple days we will try to catch up but one more update on our dear miracle boys, Jury and Zhenya. Jury's checkup yesterday when his stitches were cleaned and the bandages changed- all continues to look good! Zhenya's blood sample was clean of any cancer cells when they checked earlier this week but his family was very anxious about the bone marrow report that came back yesterday. It showed zero evidence of any cancer cells! I know that some might say it is wonderful that we have such good doctors and all the modern medicine, which I am also grateful for. But I am not willing to steal any of the glory that belongs to God- there are millions of people who die of cancer every year but by the power and mercy of God Zhenya will not be one of them! Thanks to all of you, who by faith, have prayed and fasted for these extraordinary gifts of healing!!
We have also sent a picture of our time with the Governor (far right), the vice governor (to the right of myself) and the communications director( to the left of the Governor and the former Governor (to the right of our dear brother Maxim). And most of you know the beautiful lady in the center! We are always treated with such kindness by the leadership of the Bukovina region! We have partnered with them for over 25 years now and gone through 4 administrations. As is our tradition, at end of all our meetings we hold hands, give thanks to God for His many mercies and each other as we follow His lead on whatever humanitarian tasks He would allow us to do together! In the last picture in front of the Regional Gov. building, it looks like we have been shopping but it is a gift from the Governor- a beautiful book he has published on the sights and history of this region. It was a great start for our first contact with a new partner in the work of caring for those most in need...
I can't wait to see the book...is it in English? And if it it isn't in English I hope it has lots of pictures cuz my Russian/Ukrainian is pretty rusty, lol. I am only fluent in two languages: Montanan and a form of English known as Hillbilly. But with pictures you don't need to understand any language; you just soak in the visual story. I must say I am excited for you to get on your way to Kenya and then eventually home. I want to hear from someone who has laid their eyeballs on Enos - just to make sure he is doing okay. Talk to you later my friends. May God's Grace and Protection follow you on your journey. love anita
Thank you Jesus. You are showing Your mighty works, love, and mercy for all to see. We are encouraged in You, and pray continued blessings for Your people. May many others come to You saving Grace in droves.
10:12
Sow righteousness for yourselves,
reap the fruit of unfailing love,
and break up your unplowed ground;
for it is time to seek the Lord,
until he comes
and showers his righteousness on you.
Great to see your beautiful faces, blessed are the feet of those who bring good news......love you two!!
